PGA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for the Butterfield Bermuda Championship

Who is your favorite golfer to spend up for in cash games?

Notorious: Ben James
stlcardinals84: Ben James
Jbails26: Ben James
hondizzle: Corey Conners

Who is your favorite golfer (when considering price, key stats, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

Notorious: Ben Kohles – I’m cool with either Ben as the answer here (James or Kohles). There might not be another golfer on the planet who has been as consistent as Kohles. He has finished in the top 30 of 15 of his last 16 events with a win and 2 more top-10 finishes during that stretch. He’s accurate off the tee, the best iron player in the field, and excellent on and around the greens. There’s no reason to think he’s going to slow down this week.

stlcardinals84: Ben James – James has been performing well in fields much stronger than this one, and he feels like the top option on the board by a fairly wide margin. He has finished 3rd, 2nd, and 5th in his last 3 starts, so he comes in with blazing form and plenty of confidence. His salary tag isn’t exorbitant by any means, and he feels like a logical starting point for any DFS lineup build.

Jbails26: Ben James – James is easily the best player in this weak field, leading the field in Data Golf’s True Total Strokes Gained by nearly half of a stroke over his last 50 rounds. He’s been in incredible form, finishing T5 and 2nd in his two Fall Series events. He’s not hard to fit into rosters at his price point.

hondizzle: Corey Conners – This field screams volatility. Roughly 43 past PGA TOUR winners are teeing it up, yet only about 5 have won in the last 2 years. Plenty of past success, but very little recent winning form. That makes it tough to trust anyone, but Conners is my favorite play. He’s one of the best ball strikers in the field, and I trust his tee-to-green game more than most of the options at the top. The putter is always the concern, but in a field this unpredictable, I’ll lean on the guy who consistently gives himself opportunities and hope he makes enough putts to contend.

What’s one rule/setting that you’re going to use in our PGA DFS optimizer (LineupHQ) or PGA DFS sims tool (SimLabs)?
