As for the this week’s tournament in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, El Cardonal at Diamonte will be the host for the second time. As such, we can largely throw out course history as a statistical element, though it is worth noting that one year of data may help. The venue is a traditional par 72 layout that is wide open off the tee, and the course is a Tiger Woods design. As was the case in last year’s debut where the winning score got to a whopping -27, I am expecting favorable scoring conditions and a setup that caters to scorers and those that have length off the tee — just as Tiger Woods was throughout his career. I will therefore be targeting driving distance, par 5 scoring, and birdie or better percentage as key statistical elements. Of course, strong current form is also a big plus.
Let’s check out some of my favorite GPP picks!

PGA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel GPP Breakdown for the World Wide Technology Championship
Ben Griffin
DraftKings: $9,900
FanDuel: $11,100
This is a wide open tournament without a clear favorite. For my money, I am going with Griffin as my favorite starting point, as I feel like his overall talent level will stand out ahead of the pack. He has made 5 of his last 6 cuts, with a pair of top-12 finishes in that mix. He also played here a year ago in the debut of this course, finishing T23. He ranks 7th in this field in approach play over the last 36 rounds and grades out as one of the best all-around golfers in the field. I will start many of my lineup builds with him.
