PGA DFS Value Plays: AT&T Byron Nelson
Micah Bedard (Darddog) is here to pinpoint the best salary savers for this weekend’s AT&T Byron Nelson.
Last week, Jon Rahm and Tony Finau were the clear-cut top two options in the field. Shockingly, they finished 1-2 as Tony fought off Rahm down the stretch to capture the Mexico Open.
If you played both Rahm and Finau in the same lineup, you needed to smash your value plays to make it work. I nailed Akshay Bhatia (T-4) and Cam Champ (T-8) so I hoped you played some of them as well and had a good week.
We move onto the Wells Fargo Championship that is being held at the Quail Hollow Club after last year’s version was played at TPC Potomac since QH hosted the Presidents Cup. It’s a long course, topping out just over 7,500 yards. Once again, distance OTT will be important and so will those long irons.
The field is much stronger this week, and you have a lot more options to choose from at the top.
This article will help you identify some value options on DK (below $7,500) and FD (below $9,000) to help fill out your lineups this week.
PGA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Value Plays for the Wells Fargo Championship
Hayden Buckley
DraftKings: $7,400
FanDuel: $8,500
We are back on the Buckley train this week. He’s one of the best drivers of the ball out there, with a great combination of power and accuracy. He’s never played at Quail Hollow before, but you can’t just knock a guy for not playing a course if you think he fits it well. He clearly figured something out after missing 4 straight cuts, finishing T-10 at Valero and T-5 at RBC Heritage. His price is especially favorable on FD.
