PGA DFS Value Plays: FedEx St. Jude Championship
Micah Bedard (Darddog) is here to pinpoint the best PGA DFS salary-savers for this week’s FedEx St. Jude Championship.
Make that three winners in a row for the value plays, as Lucas Glover captured the Wyndham Championship to punch his ticket to the FedEx Cup Playoffs. It’s been a pretty cool run and especially satisfying when one of your conviction picks comes through at low ownership.
I couldn’t highlight him this week because of his price, but I am predicting another flop-lag performance for Denny McCarthy this week after he missed cut as massive chalk last week.
At last, we’ve arrived at the FedEx Cup Playoffs. This year’s rendition of the FedEx St. Jude Championship at TPC Southwind looks a little bit different than last year. With the playoff cutoff being 70 instead of 125, there will not be a cut in Memphis this week.
This week’s definitely interesting in that pricing on FD is a tad tighter than DK when it comes to value plays. I like the idea of stars-scrubs builds because they are not as gross at full-field events. Someone has to be min-priced with a small field, but all of these guys left standing have had a great PGA Tour season.
Let’s get into some PGA DFS value plays under $7,500 on DK and $9,000 on FD to give your lineups an edge this week at the FedEx St. Jude Championship
PGA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Value Plays for the FedEx St. Jude Championship
Si Woo Kim
DraftKings: $7,400
FanDuel: $9,400
Our boy Si Wooo is just a tad too cheap on DK this week. He only had a ho-hum T-33 last week at Wyndham, but I was encouraged by his SG:OTT numbers. TPC Southwind has narrow fairways, and keeping the ball in the fairway will once again be key this week. Si Woo has also gained on approach in nine straight events. The best part about playing him this week might be the ownership. He’s stuck between Benny An, Lucas Glover, and J.T. Poston and will probably go lower owned than he should.
