I love it when PGA TOUR players are actually tested on the golf course. I don’t love when one of my highest-owned golfers shoots 10-over par in Round 1, but I will take these conditions over birdie-fests every day and twice on Sunday. Wyndham Clark currently holds a 2-shot lead, but there are plenty of chasers. Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler aren’t too far behind and are still the favorites in the outright market. There won’t be as much wind on Friday, but it should still play pretty tough in Round 2.
