They can change the par of the course to 71 and grow out the rough, but TPC Craig Ranch is no match for these professionals. I didn’t think Rico Hoey’s morning round of 63 could be bested, but Scottie Scheffler came out and fired a 61 in the afternoon. It looks like the cut will be in the -5 to -7 range, so any golfer at even par or worse is going to have some serious ground to make up on Friday.
