PGA DFS Picks & Projections on DraftKings for Round 3 of The Open Championship
We have plenty of interesting stories heading into the weekend, but Bryson DeChambeau is by far the biggest. The fact that he’s in contention is a huge story after missing the cut at the first three majors of the season. After some interesting comments from Brandel Chamblee and Nick Faldo, DeChambeau seems plenty motivated. However, he was assessed a 2-stroke penalty after his round for “improving his lie” on the 5th hole. He’s now 3 shots behind leader Lucas Herbert.
Similar to Round 2, it looks like the worst of the sustained wind and wind gusts will come in the afternoon on Saturday. This doesn’t mean we should avoid golfers with late tee times (especially since they are playing well), but it does open the door for the golfers going out early to move their way up the leaderboard.
