PGA DFS Picks & Projections on DraftKings for Round 3 of the U.S. Open
As expected, there was a ton of carnage in the first 2 rounds in terms of DFS chalk. The 6/6 percentage in most contests is right around 5%, so you are in good shape if you managed to get all of your golfers through the cut. If not, your lineups aren’t dead yet. The scoring conditions will only get tougher over the weekend, which means finishing position points will matter more than anything else.
If you are hitting the Showdown lobby like me, there seems to be a small wind advantage for the later tee times in Round 3. The worst of the sustained winds and the gusts are in the morning. There’s a chance some of the advantage will be offset by firmer greens late in the day, and the earlier tee times will likely come with less ownership. There are positives and negatives to both early and late tee times.
