PGA DFS Round 3 Showdown Picks and Projections – Masters
Keegan Bradley… c’mon man! I was two pars away from getting 6-of-6 through in my main lineup. Ultimately, a bad drive cost him on the 17th hole. He wasn’t the only chalky player to miss the cut. Despite nearly 60% of the field making the cut, less than 10% of lineups got all 6 of their golfers through the cut. If your Friday was like mine, have no fear: We have Round 3 Showdown and weekend contests to look forward to.
The way I see it, it’s a level playing field when it comes to DFS over the next 2 rounds. There are going to be huge movements on the leaderboard, so don’t be afraid to target golfers who barely made the cut. I expect at least one golfer who made the cut on the number to end up in the top 10 by the end of the tournament. We have great weather in the forecast on Saturday, so it should be a great day at Augusta National.

Top-End Targets
- Rory McIlroy: $11,400 – Right when it looked like he shot himself out of the Masters again, he put together a bogey-free round of 66 on Friday. He’s now only 2 shots back heading into the weekend. Scheffler could always make a run, but he’s a bit fortunate to be where he’s at given his mediocre ball striking numbers. Let’s go, Rory!
- Hideki Matsuyama: $9,000 – Matsuyama wasn’t playing well coming into the week, but his ball striking numbers have been superb through the first 2 rounds. I’m on board at this price point. He’s won the Masters before and has an excellent track record in majors.
Value Plays
- Tyrrell Hatton: $7,900 – As noted yesterday, Hatton has progressively better finishes in each of the last 3 Masters. He’s on track to extend that streak this year. His tee to green numbers are as good as nearly anyone’s in the field after the first 2 rounds.
- Min Woo Lee: $7,900 – It feels like Lee left a couple of shots out there on Friday. He missed quite a few short putts. He’s coming off a win in Houston, he likes the course, he’s a bomber off the tee, and he has an elite short game.
