PGA DFS Round 4 Showdown Picks and Projections – The Open Championship
Scottie Scheffler currently leads the field in Strokes Gained: Putting. When the best tee-to-green player in the world is putting the ball better than everyone else, he’s likely going to win. After a bogey-free 67 on Saturday, he carries a 4-shot lead into the final round. Haotong Li, Matt Fitzpatrick, and Rory McIlroy will need low rounds and likely some help from Scheffler if they are going to have any chance of hoisting the Claret Jug.
The Sunday forecast looks pretty calm in terms of the wind, but we could have some rain and cooler temperatures. As is always the case with Round 4 Showdown, we can expect ownership to gravitate toward the top of the leaderboard. My strategy for Sunday is to be underweight on Scheffler. He could easily win the tournament and not end up in the optimal lineup since he’s carrying a 4-shot lead. I prefer to start tournament lineups with Jon Rahm, Rory McIlroy, and Xander Schauffele.
