There was a fog/smoke delay on Thursday morning, so we didn’t quite get the entire first round in the books. There are 13 golfers that will head out early Thursday to finish their first round. From the data we have to work with, there was about a half stroke difference between the AM and PM wave. There wasn’t any wind in the forecast, so we can chalk this up to the course drying out and the poa greens getting a little bumpy in the afternoon. I wouldn’t go out of my way to build strict AM stacks for round two showdown, but would use tee times as a tiebreaker if you are deciding between two golfers.
