PGA DFS Value Breakdown: AT&T Pebble Beach

Selecting the absolute best value out there is crucial to cruising to the top of the leaderboards. TJ “tjl5124” Laessig, a high stakes DFS grinder, will dive into the player pool, evaluating roster construction and picking out his favorite value options for the week’s tournament.

AT&T Pebble Beach

We head to California this week for the AT&T Pebble Beach. This is typically a Pro-Am with a three-course rotation, but this week will be no amateurs and only two courses will be played. 18 holes apiece at Pebble Beach and Spyglass Hill on Thursday/Friday, followed by 36 at Pebble Beach over the weekend. It was a weak field to begin with, and after the withdrawal by Dustin Johnson, things are truly wide open. This is a shorter course where golfers will be forced to club down off the tee, so there is no significant advantage for the bombers this week. Instead, it is more of a second shot course and I will be prioritizing strokes gained approach over any other metric. From a roster construction standpoint, there is not a lot to love in the value range, especially under 7k. I will be looking to avoid the 6k range as much as I can and targeting more hybrid balanced builds that leverage one stud and are balanced from there. Let’s check out some of my favorite values!
