Farmers Insurance Open

After a few warmup events to kick off 2022, golfers will face a much more difficult test this time around as we head to the Farmers. Unlike the birdie fests we have seen thus far, Torrey Pines will test every element of the golf game, and we have a loaded field to go with it. As always, golfers will play one round each at the North and South Course to start things off, then head to the South Course two more times to finish off the weekend. I’ll be looking for ball strikers that have an all-around game, as we will need a little bit of everything to win at Torrey. Distance will also play a significant factor for me, as the South Course is coming in at nearly 8,000 yards and is one of the longest courses we will see all year. Given the stronger field, we can feel a lot more comfortable with the golfers in the value range than we have the previous few weeks. Let’s take a look at my favorite options!
