PGA DFS Value Breakdown: PGA Championship

Selecting the absolute best value out there is crucial to cruising to the top of the leaderboards. TJ “tjl5124” Laessig, a high stakes DFS grinder, will dive into the player pool, evaluating roster construction and picking out his favorite value options for the week’s tournament.

PGA Championship

We head to a beast of a golf course this week for the second major of the year, with Kiawah Island playing nearly 7900 yards in length. The ball striking will be needed to be on in order to compete this week, and I’ll be specifically looking at golfers that gain strokes off the tee with an emphasis on distance. There is potential for wind to be a big factor this week, and overall, it will be a difficult challenge that will test all aspects of the golf game.

We have 156 golfers in the field, 20 of which are club pros. With the top 70 and ties making the cut, I expect the 6/6 percentage to be significantly higher than we have seen in recent weeks. This allows us to get a bit more aggressive with our lineup construction, and we will want to find strong value plays to pair with the best golfers in the world at the top of the salary range. Let’s dive into my favorite value options for the PGA Championship this week.
