PGA DFS Value Breakdown: Shriners Hospitals for Children Open

Selecting the absolute best value out there is crucial to cruising to the top of the leaderboards. TJ “tjl5124” Laessig, a high stakes DFS grinder, will dive into the player pool, evaluating roster construction and picking out his favorite value options for the week’s tournament.

Shriners Hospitals for Children Open

We have a bit of a stronger field to work with this week as we head to Las Vegas for the Shriners Open. We will be playing TPC Summerlin, a Par 71 with three reachable par 5s, which should yield another birdie fest. Per usual, I am looking to target ball strikers that have a chance to get hot with the putter. From a roster construction standpoint, there are a few different ways we can go. At the very top, Bryson stands head and shoulders above the rest of the field, and there is enough value to open-up the salary to pay for him in a stars and scrubs build. That said, there is also a lot to love in the 8k and 9k range, which could lead to more balanced builds being optimal. Overall, should be an interesting tournament and I don’t see ownership getting too condensed on any individual golfers. Let’s evaluate some of my favorite value plays for the week.
