PGA DFS Value Breakdown: The Genesis Open

Selecting the absolute best value out there is crucial to cruising to the top of the leaderboards. TJ “tjl5124” Laessig, will dive into the player pool, evaluating roster construction and picking out his favorite value options for the week’s tournament.

The Genesis Open

We have a loaded field this week as we head to Riviera Country Club, which will be a difficult test for golfers of all skill levels. Riviera will challenge all aspects of the game, and I’ll be targeting golfers that can do a little bit of everything, with a specific focus on distance and approach play. We have a smaller field of just 120 golfers, and as often happens on more difficult tracks, I expect the elite golfers to rise to the top and be in contention on Sunday. I’ll also be looking into some course history, as we have many years of rounds that have been played here at the Genesis. In order to fit these top golfers into our lineups, we’ll need to find the right value plays to open up the salary cap. Due to the strength of the field, we have a number of golfers below 7500 on DraftKings that we have been seeing at much higher prices in other fields the past few weeks. Let’s check out some of my favorite options.
