PGA DFS Value Breakdown: The Honda Classic

Selecting the absolute best value out there is crucial to cruising to the top of the leaderboards. TJ “tjl5124” Laessig, a high stakes DFS grinder, will dive into the player pool, evaluating roster construction and picking out his favorite value options for the week’s tournament.

The Honda Classic

After one of the strongest fields we’ll see all season at THE PLAYERS last week, we head to the Honda with a much weaker field and a difficult golf course. This tournament tends to see the winner at single digits under par, and I expect this year to be no different. I am looking to target ball strikers first and foremost, with a preference for golfers that have an all-around game and a history of competing at more difficult courses. In this field, Berger, Im, and Niemann stand out at the top of the pricing range, making stars and scrubs builds very viable. Given the lack of birdies to be made, scoring will be more weighted towards finishing points than we typically see. With that in mind, I will be looking to start my lineups with at least one of the three studs at the top, searching for that win equity. This means we will need some value. Let’s check out my favorite options below $7500 on DraftKings.
