PGA DFS Value Breakdown: TOUR Championship
Selecting the absolute best value out there is crucial to cruising to the top of the leaderboards. TJ “tjl5124” Laessig, a high stakes DFS grinder, will dive into the player pool, evaluating roster construction and picking out his favorite value options for the week’s tournament.
TOUR Championship
The TOUR Championship is a unique format where golfers will begin with a different starting score according to how they finished the playoffs. This becomes important from both a roster construction and ownership standpoint, as ownership will condense to those who sit at the lowest starting scores. When building teams, we certainly want to maximize a few golfers with win equity, but when it comes down to it, scoring will still be important and we should not get too caught up in where golfers are beginning. We will also want to make sure we get leverage in GPPs where we can, which will be difficult to find with such a small field. I’ll be targeting ball strikers and we have unique pricing this week given the different format. We have a floor price of $5k, making this an interesting week for the value players article.
