PGA DFS Value Breakdown: U.S. Open

Selecting the absolute best value out there is crucial to cruising to the top of the leaderboards. TJ “tjl5124” Laessig, a high stakes DFS grinder, will dive into the player pool, evaluating roster construction and picking out his favorite value options for the week’s tournament.

U.S. Open

This week will be a true test of golf, as we head to Winged Foot for the US Open. The fairways will be narrow, the rough will be long, and the greens will be lightning fast. This course setup will challenge every aspect of the golf game and we will undoubtedly see a ton of carnage over the course of four rounds. It is expected that the winning score will come in at over par, and with only 60 golfers making the cut, the 6/6 rate is likely to be extremely low. That said, with the lack of birdies available on this course, getting 6/6 is not going to be as critical and beneficial as it typically would be due to the scoring environment. DK scoring will be heavily skewed towards finishing points, which makes me more interested in a stars and scrubs roster construction than I typically would be. You will want to make sure you build a ton of win equity into your lineups, as it will be key to have the winner and some other high finishers in order to take down a GPP this weekend.
