PGA DFS Value Breakdown: Wells Fargo Championship

Selecting the absolute best value out there is crucial to cruising to the top of the leaderboards. TJ “tjl5124” Laessig, a high stakes DFS grinder, will dive into the player pool, evaluating roster construction and picking out his favorite value options for the week’s tournament.

Wells Fargo Championship

After a fun week at the Valspar, golfers head to Quail Hollow for a tough test that will require top-notch ball striking. At over 7500 yards, distance will be key in this tournament and I will be factoring strokes gained off the tee more than I do on a typical week. We have a strong field with most of the elite golfers in the world teeing it up and there is a lot to love in the 9k+ range on DraftKings. I’ll be focused on ball-striking, targeting the top-end golfers with win equity and proceeding with a balanced build around them from there. In a deep field like this, we have a ton of value options in the 7k range, but things get a little dicey once we dip down into the 6ks. This is one of the reasons I’ll be going a little more balanced in my optimal roster constructions. That said, there is plenty of value to keep our eye on – let’s check out some of my favorite plays.
