We have another star-studded leaderboard heading into Sunday with Justin Thomas, Viktor Hovland, and Collin Morikawa all with good chances to walk away with a win. I’m sure all of you know this, but I bring it up every Sunday just in case — finishing points are awarded in showdown, which changes the strategy quite a bit. Whether you are talking cash games or tournaments, you’ll need the eventual winner in your lineup.
With that said, you don’t have to completely stack the top of the leaderboard. The difference between 10th and 50th place in terms of finishing place points is less than a single birdie, so fantasy points can easily be made up with a good round. With storms expected in the afternoon, they decided to use split tees and early time times for Sunday. The final group will tee off at 9:01 AM ET, so make sure to wake up bright and early if you are planning to get the full sweat in.
