Course Preview
Brian Stuard picked up his first PGA Tour win at the Zurich Classic last week. The event was shortened by rain delays and they only managed to get 54 holes in. While that was frustrating for everyone, we got the added bonus of getting to sweat our golfers on Monday morning. The PGA Tour now heads to Charlotte, North Carolina for the Wells Fargo Championship. This is one of the most star-studded events of the season outside of the four majors, the Players Championship, and the four WGC events.

The Quail Hollow Country Club is one of the favorite stops for many PGA Tour professional. It is a classic Par 72 course that stretches over 7,400 yards. It features four par fives and four par threes. This is an event that has been the stepping stone for a number of players. Rory McIlroy and Rickie Fowler both picked up their first career wins here. While the shorter hitters can contend here, make no mistake about it – this is a bomber’s paradise. Distance off the tee is a huge advantage on one of the longest courses the PGA Tour has to offer. While hitting fairways is never a bad thing, you can miss and still find yourself with a good line to the pin. For that reason, I will be loading up on bombers this week.
There were some rumors floating around that Tiger Woods could potentially make his return this week. That’s not the case though. Jim Furyk will be making his return though, after missing months of action after having wrist surgery. One other field note – Dustin Johnson has withdrawn from the event. He would have been a nice fit for the course. Make sure to avoid using him in your lineups this week.
Make sure to check out the Expert Picks this week. Last week, I took down a qualifier to get into the DraftKings Fantasy Golf Championship. All six of the golfers in my lineup were featured in the column.

Recent Winners of this Event: Rory McIlroy (2015), J.B. Holmes (2014), Derek Ernst (2013), Rickie Fowler (2012), Lucas Glover (2011)
Weather: Let’s all hope for a week that is free from rain delays. After a rain-shortened Zurich Classic, it looks like there should be some nice weather in Charlotte this week. The forecast calls for sunny weather with a very little chance of rain. There could be some wind to deal with though, as they are expecting 10+ MPH winds on each of the four days of the tournament.
