PGA GPP Breakdown: Houston Open

Top-ranked grinder, STLCardinals84, will break down his top GPP golf targets for the coming week’s tournament, going over his favorite plays at various price ranges. Who better than PGA DFS master, STLCards, to help you on your way.

Houston Open

After a birdie fest in Las Vegas a week ago, the PGA Tour makes an awkward transition to Houston before embarking on the Asian swing. This tournament used to be played ahead of The Masters in April, but it was a victim of the schedule changes that took place last season. As a result of the shift to a fall swing event combined with a new course on the horizon in future years, the majority of the top golfers have elected to skip the Houston Open.

This field, my friends, is one of the worst you will see all year. However, that doesn’t mean that there isn’t still some DFS money to be had! We can still gain an edge in these weaker field events, and you can even argue that the sharper player has even more of an edge this week.
