Mayakoba Golf Classic

Greetings, golf fans! This is the last event of the 2020 calendar year, so it’s our last chance to go out with a bang in DFS. It should be a fun one down in Mexico, and there are some pretty good GPP contests out there for the taking, so let’s make it count!

As for the tournament this week, El Camaleon Golf Club is the host site. This course is a resort-style par 71 layout which generally plays as an easy venue by today’s PGA Tour standards. After all, the course barely tops 7,000 yards in length. Ever since this event has moved to a late fall date, we have seen a winning score of -17 or better in all seven editions (every winner has been between -17 and -22). In other words, expect plenty of scoring chances, especially if there is not much wind. Given the short yardage, El Camaleon generally caters to accuracy over distance, so I will favor good ball strikers and golfers who can score at will. With that, let’s get to some of my favorite GPP options of the week
