Greetings, DFS golf fanatics! Welcome back to the GPP breakdown for this week’s event, and we have perhaps the strongest field of the 2019 calendar year to date. The invited golfers will assemble at Riviera Country Club for the Genesis Invitational, and there are some large GPP contests out there for this event. There will be more eyes on the golf landscape with the NBA on the All Star break, so it’s a good week to make some lineups!
As for the event, we do have a bit of a change this year. As opposed to being a 144 golfer event, this tournament has now changed to an invitational format, with only 120 golfers making the field. However, that is the all we have for changes. Everything else remains the same. We do have plenty of course history to lean on at Riviera. This event has been around for decades, and the course is as tried and tested as any that is used on the PGA Tour.
