The RSM Classic
Hey there, golf fans! Outside of the 18-man Hero World Challenge in a few weeks, this is the final event of the 2019 calendar year, as the winter break is upon us. Let’s make it count with a big win!
The RSM Classic is on the docket this week. This tournament will be played on two courses prior to the cut, as that is necessary in order for the tournament to have a full 156 golfer field but still be able to get the rounds in during the limited daylight hours. The Seaside Course will host both weekend rounds, while each player will play one round on the Plantation Course prior to the cut. Both courses are short at around 7,000 yards, while the Seaside Course is a par 70 and the Plantation Course is a par 72. Most golfers agree that this venue does not prioritize distance off the tee. Ball striking and approach play will once again be paramount, as it was last week in Mexico. Expect golfers with similar skill sets as those we liked a week ago grade out well in projections this week.
