Valspar Championship
Greetings, Grinders! We are back with another full field PGA Tour event in Florida this week, but we have a course setup that rewards the same type of players that we saw a week ago. This tournament will be played at the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook, and this is a very difficult layout. It is a par 71 course, but not in the traditional par 71 sense (three par fives, four par threes). This course actually has four par fives and five par threes, which is not something you normally see. Like the course from Mexico last week, we have a tight, tree-lined venue, which will cause a lot of players to club down off the tee. However, this course does have some meat and distance to it, so a lot of approach shots will be played at longer distances.
