Whew! I’m glad that week of research is finally in the books. I like what I’ve got; now let’s see what everyone else did …

I personally do not see any surprises at the top of the list here, as I think Bubba and CHIII were two of the most touted players coming in. In my little bubble, I did not see Kisner and Na coming in right behind that. I keep feeling like Kisner’s the forgotten man but really, DK PGA players LOVE him. And rightfully so! I have him in a few GPP lineups just for posterity, but for my money I’d rather take a lower-owned guy in GPP when it’s anybody’s ballgame.

Kisner has ruined me before though! I miss playing him when he was $7700 last summer.

Going a little further down, there are some guys who we might remember. Brendon Todd coming in at a 0.3% ownership that you only arrive at, I think, because everyone who has rostered you over the past 4 months is in line for soup right now. For those of us that have survived a Todd meltdown (can you call it a melt down if he’s terrible from the start?) … maybe this is the week he gets it back! But not many are banking on that. I thought name recognition alone would pull him out of the ashes.

I’ll also notice that this week we can see that Smylie Kaufman came in by far the highest owned cash game play, but it seems that the public is catching on to the trend of trying to hedge off of the SUPER obvious highly-owned plays when they hop over to make Drive the Green entries, and I think most people who rostered Smylie did so knowing he’d be high-owned. So, that’s interesting. I think it shows some tact that nobody is coming in 35%+ in GPPs recently but I still think we will continue to have an edge by analyzing ownership rates for quite some time!

As always, let me know what’s jumping out at you, because my eyes are still bleary from looking at lineups! Let’s get some discussion going … who do you wish you had more of, who are you on an island with, and who do you need to fail!?

Good luck!
