Last one of the season! Except really we have a few playoff events that will be a nice fun ending. Lot’s of golfers battling for their last scraps of cash or their last chance to get into the playoffs! Let’s see where everyone landed!

Jon Rahm (27.5% GPP, 20% Cash) – Well! This is a little long for a honeymoon period! Despite maybe not living up to a lofty salary a couple of times, he hasn’t really burned anyone yet, and we all have dazzling memories of him still. I jumped on the bandwagon this time, I mean, he’s got to fall off eventually but he’s playing really good, motivated golf right now. We haven’t seen him for long enough to know anything not to like!? Hopefully we won’t find out this week!

Jason Dufner (25% GPP, 53% Cash) – I’m not going to lie. This kind of snuck up on me. I mean it’s just an overwhelmingly high percentage for a cash game. I mean usually there’s some monumental under pricing or incredibly hot recent form or course history to drive this kind of ownership. The price is cheap but there’s also a lot of guys around him. Just “one of those plays” I guess where the momentum kind of builds? There’s certainly nothing wrong with it but I didn’t have him as the overwhelmingly most popular cash golfer coming in. We’ll see how he does!

Kevin Na (23% GPP, 43% Cash) – Oh, the memories! In the meat of last season Kevin Na was THE cash game staple for awhile. Then at the beginning of this season he was a $9k/$10k stud for a few tournaments. And then he kind of went dormant for awhile. His last five tournaments though have him consistently back in form and the early returns here are more of the same. People noticed. Also the short course angle is one that people always love to play up with Na!

Rafa Cabrera-Bello (23% GPP, 34% Cash) – Bolstered by a good Olympics, this is already shaping up to be a good pick and about 7,500 entrants in the $3 birdie are on cloud 9 right now with both him and Na selected together and tied for first place as of this writing. Obviously it’s a long tournament but these guys are definitely carrying momentum! We’ll see if it lasts until Sunday.

Rickie Fowler (11% GPP, 3% Cash) – Had to check in on this one. Been so lackluster for so long. Threw one low round up at the Olympics or it could have been a total disaster (still kind of was). Shows what he’s capable of. But the “trust” from the DFS community is teetering on zero in cash games at this point … … … he’s got to bounce back eventually? Right? Doesn’t seem like there’d be a lot of time to make adjustments between Brazil and here, but maybe it’s not that complicated?

Good luck everyone! See you at the start of the playoffs!
