PGA Splits Advanced Data Picks and Analysis: RSM Classic

The PGA Tour heads to St. Simons Island, Georgia along the eastern seaboard for the last main event of the 2021 calendar year. The data shows that this course plays easier than Tour average in almost every single statistical category. Played on two different courses (Plantation and Seaside), the Seaside course is the tougher of the two due to its 13 holes with direct danger and its vulnerability to the wind as it is located directly off the coast. Daylight is scarce here in mid-November, but with the use of two courses, this event is able to pack in a full field of 156 golfers. Golfers will play each course once before a 36-hole cut takes place with the top 65 and ties advancing on to play the weekend at the Seaside course.
