PGA DFS Showdown Picks and Projections – Round 2
Many of the big names in the field got off to strong starts in Scotland this week. Sungjae Im (-7), Ludvig Aberg (-6), Rory McIlroy (-5), Tommy Fleetwood (-5), and Collin Morikawa (-5) are all within three shots of the lead. They are all chasing Justin Thomas (-8), who gained over three strokes both on approach and on the greens. The story of the day for me was the lock of ShotTracker. It amazes me that the PGA TOUR can’t figure this out, but hopefully they’ll have live updates the rest of the tournament. At the very least, we have the full ShotLink data from the first round (even though we had to wait for it). With little to no wind in the forecast for Friday, we don’t worry about tee times when building lineups.
