PGA DFS Showdown Picks and Projections – Round 2
While my lineups didn’t get off to the best start on Thursday, I sure love this tournament. The course actually penalizes bad shots, both off the tee and on approach. While Adam Hadwin currently boasts a one-shot lead, there are some big hitters behind him. Scottie Scheffler is sitting at -5, Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa, Ludvig Aberg, and Corey Conners are sitting at -4, and a host of others are sitting at -3. We had upwards of 20 MPH gusts on Thursday, and the forecast for Friday calls for 18+ MPH sustained winds and 28+ MPH gusts. It’s going to be extremely difficult to score. I’m placing an emphasis on golfers who are precise both off the tee and on approach.
