PGA DFS Showdown Picks and Projections – Round 2
It was not easy on Thursday. There’s something about being in the warmth of my bed watching professional golfers struggle in the cold and windy weather that really hits the mark once a year. The first round at Royal Troon was one of the toughest scoring rounds that we have seen in major championships over the last 10 years. Don’t believe me? Ask Rory McIlroy (7), Cameron Smith (+9), Wyndham Clark (+7), and Sahith Theegala (+6). Golfers cannot afford to make mistakes off the tee, on approach, or around the green. One bad shot can easily lead to a double bogey or worse. It won’t get any easier on Friday, as we have 25 MPH gusts expected the entire day.
