Hideki Matsuyama’s short game carried him in the first two rounds but let him down on Saturday. He only shot even par, which allowed the rest of the field a chance to catch him. As it stands heading into the final round, Jon Rahm and Xander Schauffele are tied at -14. Rahm is looking for his biggest win of the year, while Schauffele is looking for back-to-back wins and back-to-back gold medals. Tommy Fleetwood is only one shot behind and is likely the only golfer who can catch one of the two tied atop the leaderboard.
