PGA DFS Showdown Picks and Projections – Round 4

Based on the forecast for Saturday, I thought we might see some tougher scoring conditions. But when the PGA TOUR gives these guys lift, clean, and place on a soft golf course, it doesn’t matter if it’s windy. Only 10 golfers were over par for the day, while 16 golfers were at least 6-under par. The tournament is up for grabs, as there are only three strokes separating 9 golfers at the top of the leaderboard. Akshay Bhatia and Aaron Rai are currently tied for the lead, but Cameron Young, Cam Davis, Erik Van Rooyen, and Sam Stevens are only a stroke back.

While golfers will go out in twosomes and all off the first tee, there’s not much of a weather advantage on Sunday. The early tee times might see a slightly softer course, but the gusts look a tad worse in the morning. I will still take some chances with golfers down the leaderboard who have struck the ball well through the first three rounds.
