PGA DFS Showdown Picks and Projections – Round 4
Scottie Scheffler left the door ajar on Saturday, but nobody near the top of the leaderboard decided to walk through it. He started the day with a 3-shot lead and despite shooting a rather tame round of 71, he now leads by 4 shots heading into the final round. It was not a great day for Christiaan Bezuidenhout, Viktor Hovland, and Keegan Bradley. Adam Hadwin is still in the mix after shooting a round of even par. He’s currently in a 3-way tie for second with Collin Morikawa and Sepp Straka. Given the fact that Scheffler has won 4 of his last 7 starts and that he’s currently -450 in the live outright market, it’s hard to see him losing on Sunday.
While I’m not going to get cute by fading Scheffler, I will certainly take some chances with the rest of my lineup. The course should play tough once again, which means there will be a lot of movement on the leaderboard. As I always like to point out, the difference between 8th and 50th in terms of finishing position points is less than a single birdie.
