PGA Value Breakdown: AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am

Selecting the absolute best value out there is crucial to cruising to top of the leaderboards. PGA guru Josh “futureoffantasy” Culp dives into the player pool, picking out his favorite value options for the week’s tournament.

AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am

After a quick stop in the Arizona desert, the golfers head back to California for a few more events in the Golden State.

This week’s event is the Pebble Beach Pro-Am which means slow rounds and a top-heavy field.

Weather also has the potential to wreak havoc here, so I will return when the tee times are released to include each golfer’s course routing.

With soft pricing and plenty of star power at the top, let’s dive through the mid and low tiers for some value plays.

Rafa Cabrera Bello ($6,900 DK / $10,200 FD / $13,800 FDRFT)

He’s one of the stars that is getting all the Twitter rants this week, due to his egregious pricing. The biggest part of that is his World Ranking (21st in OWGR) but he sits at 81st on the DK pricing list. From a cut-made standpoint, he ranks 20th in the field for me. He also enters with finishes of T21 or better in six of his last eight worldwide starts. No matter how you slice it, RCB is underpriced on DraftKings. If you are making cash games, I wouldn’t suggest getting cute, instead I would just lock in the Spaniard and try to beat your opponents in the remaining five spots.
