PGA Value Breakdown: Dell Technologies Championship
Selecting the absolute best value out there is crucial to cruising to top of the leaderboards. PGA guru Josh “futureoffantasy” Culp dives into the player pool, picking out his favorite value options for the week’s tournament.
Dell Technologies Championship
A small field of 98 golfers will tee it up at TPC Boston this week for the second leg for the FedExCup Playoffs.
With a smaller field on hand, we should see plenty of 6/6 lineups this week. That means that Stars & Scrubs will be a popular lineup strategy.
If you want to load up on a stud or two, then you’ll need some value fillers. Here are some of my favorites this week:
Keegan Bradley ($7200 DK / $9100 FD / $13300 FDRFT)
It will be interesting to see how people treat his Sunday implosion. He entered the final round in solo second before a 7-over 78 where nothing went right for him. Despite his T34 finish, his fantasy totals were very close to guys like Tommy Fleetwood, Jason Day, and Charley Hoffman who all finished at T20 on the leaderboard. Staying in the Northeast, this is a home game for Bradley. He’s been T14 or better at the midpoint here in three of his last four trips to TPC Boston. By week’s end, he has finished T35 or better in each of his last five starts here. More recently, Bradley has averaged a whopping 4.2 strokes gained on approach (per event) over his last 10 ShotLink starts. His irons are locked in this year and I’d look for that to continue this week as he readies for a home game.
