PGA Value Breakdown: RBC Heritage
Selecting the absolute best value out there is crucial to cruising to top of the leaderboards. PGA guru Josh “futureoffantasy” Culp dives into the player pool, picking out his favorite value options for the week’s tournament.

Harbour Town Golf Links will host a field of 132 golfers this week down on Hilton Head Island.
When you talk about classical courses or plodder’s tracks, this is one of the first that will come to mind.
It’s a surprisingly strong field but it does thing out after the top portion. That means if you want to load up on some of the top-tier options you will need to fit in some value plays. Here are some of my favorites:
Francesco Molinari ($7500 DK / $10200 FD / $14600 FDRFT)
I led this article with Patrick Reed last week so let’s see if Molinari can live up to those high expectations. The Italian is making his fourth appearance at this event. He’s improved on each return visit (MC —> T45 —> T22). Moli has been struggling with the flat stick this season but he did gain 1.1 strokes putting at Bay Hill (another course with TifEagle bermuda greens). In fact, bermuda is the only putting surface that Moli is positive in the SGP department (since 2012). He also arrives fresh off a top 20 at the Masters. If we look at baseline performance across the PGA TOUR and Euro Tour since 2014 he grades out among names like Patrick Cantlay, Tyrrell Hatton, Marc Leishman, and Zach Johnson. Yet, he’s not priced like that, especially on DraftKings where he is the most underpriced. Molinari makes for a good value play on all sites this week. This is a course that could finally yield a PGA TOUR victory to the Italian.
