A nearly full field heads to Oahu this week for the Sony Open in Hawaii.
The host course is Waialae Country Club which is the stereotypical “classic course”. It’s a tight course that requires some good ol’ fashioned shot shaping. That brings a larger pool of golfers into play, even the elder statesmen.
Factoring in that course fit, recent form, and long-term skill, here are some of my favorite value plays this week…
