PGA Weekly Course Analysis: Corales Puntacana Resort & Club Championship

Each week, Sean O’Donnell will break down the course in detail to figure out which golfers will be in the best position to succeed.

Corales Puntacana Resort & Club Championship

This week we’ve got TWO tournaments going on- one of the few times per year that we’ve got the “alternative” tournament format where there’s a short field of world-elite guys in one location, and a lesser-known tournament going on in another. So, we’ll cover both! But since the Puntacana is on all of the major sites for DFS purposes, we will do the full rundown there. Let’s first get some good info out there about the Dell Matchplay events on DraftKings, though!

Dell Matchplay

This is an interesting setup, the second year that DraftKings has offered their match play format. Other sites haven’t “figured out” a way to handle the scoring here, so will feature the other event with traditional stroke play scoring. For this event, though, DraftKings has come up with a scoring format that mirrors the match play format in general- wide open, and anybody’s ballgame!
