PGA Weekly Course Analysis: The Genesis Invitational

Each week, Sean O’Donnell will break down the course in detail to figure out which golfers will be in the best position to succeed.

The Genesis Invitational

Riviera Country Club greets us this year for their first year with “elevated” status on tour, with this week’s winner of the shortened “invitational” field getting a 3-year exemption plus extra cash on top of most of our other TOUR stops! There’s also a little more in the pot at most DFS sites, so let’s see what we can see in one of our favorite backdrops on TOUR, the Riviera Country Club!

Riviera CC:

Par: 71
Length: 7325
Scoring average per round: +0.77
Chances of bogey free round (field): 1.4%
Best opportunities for 3-birdie streak (field): 1-2-3? Not much.
