MLB PrizePicks Predictions Today

Colin Rea – Less Than 17.5 Outs

Rea is a low-strikeout pitcher who has had a terrible time with lefties this season, and he draws a very tough matchup against the Chicago Cubs. While there are a lot of strikeouts in the Cubs’ projected lineup, there’s also a ton of power. Rea struggles to keep the ball on the ground and projects for only 16.29 outs in the RotoGrinders projections. This pick has a 62.35% win rate in the MLB PrizePicks tool, which is the highest on the entire slate.

Charlie Morton – Less Than 17.5 Outs

Right behind Rea in the MLB PrizePicks tool is Morton to have less than 17.5 outs, which has a win rate of 61.82%. Morton projects for only 16.26 outs in the RotoGrinders projections, and he has allowed a 49.5% hard-hit rate this season. Old man Morton isn’t what he once was, and Pittsburgh isn’t as bad of a lineup as people usually view them.

Rafael Devers – More Than 1.5 Total Bases

The Red Sox have the highest implied run total of the night, and Devers is their best hitter; there’s no reason to overthink this one. Opposing pitcher Randy Vasquez has struck out a ridiculously low 9.2% of lefties this season while giving up a .244 ISO and a 52.9% hard-hit rate. Not only is Devers red-hot recently, with home runs in back-to-back games, but he boasts an astounding .339 ISO against RHP this season.
