Questions & Answers: Sunday, September 20th

Hello Grinders. We are amazingly down to our final week of baseball. This shortened season has just blown by. The Rays, White Sox and A’s have already clinched playoff spots in the AL, while the Dodgers have clinched in the NL. We may start to see some studs on these playoff teams rest in this final week, but for now there are still a number of teams fighting for those final playoff spots so it’s just something we’ll need to monitor in the coming days. Let’s dive in!

Question 1 – How Do The Sites Differ?

Once again, we have some weird dynamics where the sites have treated their main slate differently. On DraftKings, we have an eight game main slate that includes the first game of the WAS-MIA doubleheader, meaning this is a seven-inning game. It also doesn’t include anything after 11:10am PST / 2:20pm EST (i.e. TOR-PHI, LOS-COL). This means we have the benefit of Max Scherzer as an option, albeit in a shorted game.
