Raiders vs. Steelers Week 3 Showdown NFL DFS Lineup Advice for DraftKings & FanDuel

The main slate is finished and the Raiders vs. Steelers divisional Week 3 Showdown matchup is Sunday’s final chance to take down a GPP on FanDuel and DraftKings. Single-game slates require a unique strategy to make money compared to a regular slate. Thankfully, I’ll be providing NFL DFS lineup advice for every Sunday Night Football Showdown slate.

Raiders vs. Steelers Week 3 Showdown Lineup Advice

There’s not a huge difference between the two sites tonight, as both our DraftKings and Fanduel picks will likely have a lot of the same strategy. Jaylen Warren is expected to be heavily involved for the Steelers. He should be game-script proof in this one, rushing if they have the lead or catching passes if they’re coming from behind. I love him on both sites, but especially on a point-per-dollar site, making him one of my top DraftKings picks of the Sunday Night Football Week 3 showdown slate between the Raiders vs. Steelers.

Outside of Warren, there are two skill players in particular who will be a major priority. George Pickens and Davante Adams will be the primary focus for both FanDuel and DraftKings, and I’ll likely use the LineupHQ optimizer groups to make sure I have at least one of Davante Adams or Josh Jacobs on every single lineup. I don’t mind adding in the kickers and defenses in this one either, as this one will likely be ugly.

DraftKings Strategy

For the Sunday Night Football Week 3 showdown matchup between the Raiders vs. Steelers, a stars and scrubs lineup is looking like the build for DraftKings. Davante Adams, Josh Jacobs, George Pickens and the quarterbacks are all expensive, but they’re also not that tough to get to in LineupHQ. The lineup optimizer shows a plethora of different incredibly cheap options, especially Raiders pass catchers who’ll pair incredibly well with lineups that have Jimmy Garoppolo. However, the most under-priced player on the slate looks to be Jaylen Warren. He has significantly out-shined Najee Harris this year and is expected to pick up a stronger work load against the Raiders.

I’ll build a few shootout style lineups with the quarterbacks at the CPT position, paired with some of their cheap pass catchers. However, my main priority in LineupHQ tonight is to build lineups that center around Jaylen Warren and George Pickens, one of Jacobs or Adams, and then fill the rest out with kickers and defenses for tonight’s DraftKings lineups.

Favorite CPTs: Jaylen Warren, George Pickens, Davante Adams

Favorite Large-Field GPP Shots: Calvin Austin, Austin Hooper, Michael Mayer

FanDuel Strategy

It’s a bit of a different story for tonight’s FanDuel picks, as it’s not quite as easy to reach the expensive plays. I still plan to use the lineup optimizer target either Josh Jacobs or Davante Adams in each lineup; however, it’s far more difficult making both of them work in the same lineup. Thankfully, the Sunday Night Football Week 3 showdown slate features an under-priced Jaylen Warren on both sites, making him a perfect target.

Warren doesn’t have the same upside on a half-point-per-reception site like FanDuel. However, I like his touchdown equity in this spot as well. George Pickens and Pat Freiermuth are under-priced, making a balanced lineup approach a far more productive build without the same cheap punt options we have on DraftKings.

Favorite MVPs: Jaylen Warren, George Pickens, Kenny Pickett

Favorite Large-Field GPP Shots: Calvin Austin, Steelers D, Josh Jacobs (too cheap)
