Rankings Update: Kaiser Leads for NBA Title

rotogrinders%20misc%20rankings%20small

After a short break, the Rankings Update is back! A lot has gone down since our last issue: NFO finished one-two in the March Monthly Leaderboard, 25 of our Top 100 Grinders gained 1,000 or more points, three of those Grinders gained 10,000 or more points, four players jumped 10 spots or more in the rankings, and the NBA regular season concluded – which means the the title for RotoGrinders NBA Season Champ (and winner of a custom trophy avatar) will soon be announced, and the race for the finish should be fun to watch! There’s a lot to go over this week, so let’s get straight to it:

Big Gainers – Jmp Jumps 18 Spots!

Our most impressive gainer at the top of the rankings came courtesy of DaBigU, who has been on an absolute tear lately and jumped four spots to #16. Our biggest overall gain came from jmp5029, who is now up to 39th in the rankings and has surpassed the 5,000 point mark. Make sure to keep an eye on NoFear who is surging up all of the leaderboards right now. NoFear is 4th in the April Monthly Leaderboard, and jumped 16 spots to 28th Overall! Keep up the good work all!

NBA Seasonal Leaderboard – A Close Race For First!

NBA season is almost over! And the race for first is tight. No surprises here, as #1 Ranked Kaiseroll13 currently has around a 5,000 point lead over, wait for it…#2 ranked Rudzia555 for the NBA title. For many Grinders this point differential could seem insurmountable, but for these two giants 5,000 points is nothing. Whoever wins a Seasonal Title for a sport on RotoGrnders will receive a custom Avatar for their RotoGrinders (design still in progress). So, place your sidebets, as this could be an exciting finish!

1,000 Point Club

After some debate, we decided to maintain the 1,000 point club list even though it should technically have been the ’3,000 Point Club’ this week due to the gap in the rankings updates. Regardless, 1,000 points is still very impressive. What’s beyond impressive is that we had three users, iwasoncelost, ohmsy, and rudzia555, who had 10,000 point or more gains each! Congrats to all that made the elite list this week.

Top 25 Overall

It’s now been over 1 year since RotoGrinders Rankings began tracking results! This means you will now start noticing some players losing results that are over 1 year old from their body of work. That is because you can’t be a flash in the pan to make the top of the Overall rankings here, you have to win over a period of time to make it to the top of our rankings! As some players quit playing, for whatever reason, it makes room for some new players to climb the rankings. Here’s our current Top 25 Overall Grinders:
