Rankings Update 9/28: Improved Formula + Standings
The RotoGrinders player rankings are one of the most important features offered through our site and we are constantly looking for ways to improve them. A couple months back we made a change to the system that heavily weighted bonuses for playing on more sites and for playing a variety of sports. Now, we have updated the formula to reduce the impact of playing one site and/or sport while still rewarding players who can win in various settings. Alright now that you’ve read the FAQ page over(or haven’t because you were too excited to see the rankings) we can take a look at the top players for MLB, NFL, the month of September and overall. There are tons of changes with the new formula so rather than reference them to our last rankings update, I will just give you the leaderboards, a little commentary and next week we can return to the regular format of looking at the movers and shakers across the industry.

We will be returning to our normal rankings article style next week with a full breakdown of all the movers and shakers across the industry. We will also wrap up the MLB season and see who fared best across daily fantasy baseball for the past 200 days or so. Then we will check in on the up and comers in NFL action as we hit the quarter point of that season.
