RG Newsletter #22: DFS/Betting Community News, Stats, Trends, And More!
Hey Grinders!
No league manifests beef like the NBA. LeBron and KD ignoring the Jazz players during the All-Star game draft was amazing. More leagues need to put players in a position to throw jabs at each other. It’s fun!

BIGGEST SPORTS BETTING MONTH EVER
March is going to be HUGE for sports betting!
Welcome To March, America’s Biggest Sports Betting Month Ever – By Eric Raskin for USBets
“It wasn’t long ago that $3 billion in total national sports betting handle in a single month felt like a monumental projection. But that very quickly went from ambitious to ordinary. It happened in September, October, November, and December.
When January 2021 numbers are all in, the $4 billion barrier will be broken.
And just two months after that, in March, $5 billion is conceivably within reach.” READ MORE

SCHMITTO’S SHARP MONEY
Squads are set for the 2021 NBA All-Star game, and so are the betting odds. Here’s what Matt Schmitto is on for Sunday.
“Like last year, I think the play is to bet on the Underdog — in this case, Team Durant +3.5. I also like Under 308.5 as I think there the lack of fans, not to mention the rivalries between LBJ-Kyrie and Giannis-Harden, will actually increase the defensive intensity between the two squads.” READ MORE
Against The Spread: Team Durant +3.5
Total: Under 308.5 Points
NICOLE’S KNOWLEDGE NUGGET
This week, we added the ability to prioritize your player groups and set max exposures for them. For groups with an explicit order set, we apply them to lineups one at a time in increasing order.
We keep using an ordered group until it reaches its max exposure and then move on to the next one. Any group without a priority order will be applied to all lineups, same as it’s always been.
