In Case You Missed It
- KD and King James are Good at Basketballs – Lebron James went for a cool 37 pts, 9 reb, 5 stl, and 3 assistesses in a 103 to 97 victory over the Suns. Is King back to being an elite fantasy option? Dwayne Wade missed last night’s game. Maybe Lebron feels like he finally needs to take over the team for the stretch run. Kevin Durant did some usual #DurantThings going for 36 and 10 in a three point victory over the Blazers. Joakim Noah did a solid for his fantasy owners on bonus sites picking up a triple double last night.
- Tickets, Tickets, Got Their Tickets – Damp punched his ticket to the Showcase by the narrowest of margins, eeking out a .25 pt victory. Dinkpiece also grabbed his ticket as well. This tournament is shaping up to be one of the strongest fields ever in a DFS tournament.
- DraftStreet Announces the College Blowout – Widely considered the greatest sporting weekend of the year, the first Thursday to Sunday of March Madness is a time to watch your brackets and hope that the woman who picked her teams based on team color and mascot in the office pool doesn’t beat you. Stupid Carla. She always wins. But I digress. This year DraftStreet gives you another place to
losewin money on March Madness, with their College Blowout. The Blowout is a $22 entry, 2000 man survivor style tournament with half the field advancing each day until the final 250 play on Sunday. First place takes him a cool $10k.
Today’s Events
- NBA Tonight – A huge 13 game schedule tonight on the last big night before the All Star Break (and impending DFS withdrawal). The big match-ups are in the late night on the West Coast, with Miami visiting Golden State and the Trail Blazers heading to Clipper-land. There should be some juicy fantasy options out there tonight, with the Fantasy Goodness Game of the Night ™ being a tie between Nuggets-Twolves, Miami-GS and Portland-LAC.
- Tonight’s Big NBA GPPs – The DSBC Qualifier #24 runs tonight with it’s $215 buy-in. The Wednesday Super Slam is rocking FanDuel with a $120,000 guaranteed prize pool, $13k for first place, and only a $25 buy-in. Satellites are continuing there for the DFBBC. StarStreet is running Q #15 for the Playboy Basketball Championship. Over on DraftKings there are three chances to qualify for the Showcase at $27, $109 and $270.
