Today’s gif is due to the influx of Raptors avatars in Grinders chat lately.
In Case You Missed It
- FanDuel Limits Players to 250 Games Per Day – FandDuel sent an email to some of their higher volume players asking them to limit their play to 250 games per night. There’s some questions as to how this will be policed, as right now they’re asking players to police it on their own. Most people seem to agree that this is best for the ecomony. Alex from FanDuel has commented and some of the high stakes players have chimed in over here in the forums. It will be interesting to see how this effects the Grinders Rankings in a few weeks, with players not being able to post insane volume.
- Mike Moser – dopplesykes is not a fan of Mike Moser. A hilarious rant. Read about his plight here
Today’s Events
- Sneak Peek at the NBA Twitter Tool – Everyone says that Twitter is the best place to follow NBA injury news. But who do you follow on Twitter? Ethan has compiled a list of NBA beat writers that are essential to follow for NBA. Check out a preview of the tool here
- NBA Tonight – Eight games on the schedule tonight, with the major match-up being Oklahoma City visiting red-hot Brooklyn. Fantasy goodness looks to abound in that Toronto vs Denver match-up. The Rise & Grind has an exclusive interview this morning. Lets bring in fantasy analyst Gary Oldman.
Rise and Grind: Gary, who should we play in the Toronto vs. Denver game tonight?
- Tonight’s Big NBA Tournaments – Tonight is the first chance to qualify for the Draftkings Showcase. The $109 Q is filled as of press time, but the $27 Qualifier is still available. The $25 FanDuel Slam is going off at $90k tonight, with $10,000 going to first place. Also tonight on DraftStreet is DSBC Qualifier #21 with a $22 buy-in. The long shot for the little people. Lock up your entries now!
- Rise & Grind Rant – I have a rant of my own to go on today. In NHL action tonight, the Islanders complete their home-and-home with the Rangers. The first game of the home-and-home was the Stadium Classic in Yankee Stadium where the Rangers were the “away” team. Oh, and lets take a look at last Sunday’s game in Yankee Stadium where the Devils were also the “home” team. The Devils are from a completely different state! How are they a home team? It’s also not like they are still in the Meadowlands. They’re the whole way down in Newark now. And why did the Rangers, a team historically better at MSG, get essentially two extra home games this year? What kind of blackmail do the Rangers have on Bettman? Must be some good J. Edgar Hoover style stuff.
